Musculoskeletal, Sports and GP services*
I'm a UK trained GP with nearly 20 years experience as a doctor and am passionate about General Practice. In addition to General Practice services I offer a range of additional services, some of which are bulk-billed. Some additional services have a small additional charge, mainly to cover cost of equipment and consumables, all of which is very competitive.
GPXtra was set up to offer additional services to patients. It was born from my desire to offer affordable, good quality General Practice to patients in the community. As well as working from a fixed base, I also offer a comprehensive mobile service at sporting clinics and community sports clinics alike as GPSportsDoc.
I am a qualified Sports Doctor having advanced qualifications in Sports and Exercise medicine, as well as a Master’s degree in Musculoskeletal Medicine. I have worked in Sports Medicine since around 2001and have been involved in the care of sporting teams (in the role of Club Doctor) since 2003, covering Torquay United football (Soccer) in the UK, Mclaren FC and Glenelg FC. In addition, I also have training and qualifications in Medical Acupuncture and Cold LASER therapy

I am a GP with over 15 years of experience and I cover all GP disciplines. I regularly keep all my skills up-to-date. I have additional postgraduate qualifications in:
Sports and Exercise medicine Musculoskeletal Medicine Prolotherapy Medical acupuncture
I am the current club doctor for - Mclaren GF in the GSFL - Glenelg FC in the SANFL
